Immaqaa — Mathurin Bolze / Compagnie MPTA
Contemporary circus show
With Immaqaa — meaning “maybe” in Inuktitut — the circus artist and eight fellow acrobats compose a book of images, a kind of reverie built from fragments of memory. In a constantly shifting space, they search for a place to dwell, carried by an adventurous journey of slides, flights, and suspensions. This sense of uncertainty, tied to the harsh climates of these remote lands, echoes the instability of our own time. A poetic and highly aerial voyage upon the white page of the Far North.
The music for Immaqaa was co-composed and recorded on the cello by Hortense Airault.
Musical and sound conception : Philippe Le Goff and Jérôme Fèvre.
