Created in 2023 by Hortense Airault and Ana Parejo Belando, Duo Imminent is a project of improvisation and collaborative compositions combining cello, saxophone, voice and electronics. The two artists share an interest in exploring sound, physicality and artistic creation.

Duo Imminent has been invited to perform at the 2024 and 2025 Archipel Festival (Geneva), at Kulturesk Festival and Playtime Festival (Bern) and for Électrons Libres at the HEM in Geneva. They participated in the improvisation workshop at Mixtur Festival 2024. 

The musicians work in close collaboration with David Poissonnier (sound diffusion and electronic presence of the group) and benefits from the advice of L.Naón, J. Hyde, G. Nouno, S. Steen-Andersen, A. Koerfer-Bürger and M.B. Charrier.
